Anyone in the Greater Tampa Bay area knows that the start of school is right around the corner, and for us here at the Mike Alstott Family Foundation, that can only mean one thing: Our annual Back To School Shopping Spree at Dick's Sporting Goods. This morning, we treated nearly 40 children from The Sallie House and Children’s Village to a new pair of shoes, a package of socks and a backpack to prepare them for the start of school next Wednesday. Also, this year, with the help of our friends at Reed TMS, we were able to host over 50 additional children from A Kids Place to new shoes and socks yesterday morning in Brandon. Thank you to al of those that support us to allow us to do what we do. We hope that all of those heading back to school in the next few weeks have a great 1st day of school and a successful school year.
