The past 2 days were no doubt a few of the most eventful and rewarding days we've had in a long time. Thanks to DICK'S Sporting Goods, we were able to take two groups of kids on a back-to-school shopping spree. Each child shopped for a new pair of shoes, pack of socks, and a backpack to prepare for the upcoming school year. Yesterday we were able to take the kids from the Sallie House and Children's Village (both programs of The Salvation Army of St. Petersburg/South Pinellas County). And this morning, thanks to our friends at Reed TMS Logistics, we were able to host the children from A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay, Inc. All in all, nearly 100 children in foster care will start school this year looking good and more importantly, feeling good. Thank you to all of the supporters that allow us the opportunity to hold events like this.
