As the Thanksgiving season approaches, Former Buccaneer Mike Alstott and the Mike Alstott Family Foundation are spreading warmth and gratitude by teaming up with Foundation supporters, Tito's Handmade Vodka, and the Employees of the Tampa Werner Logistics Office to make this Thanksgiving a little brighter for local heroes.
The giving spirit will shine on Friday, November 17, when Mike Alstott will personally deliver full Thanksgiving meals to all 47 Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Stations and the 911 Dispatch Center. These dedicated local heroes will receive a feast that includes a delicious pumpkin cheesecake and ground coffee, courtesy of Bassano Cheesecakes and Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Co. It's a heartfelt way to thank the firefighters and first responders who will be on duty, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community on Thanksgiving Day.
The expressions of gratitude won't stop there. On Saturday, November 18, the Mike Alstott Family Foundation team will embark on a day of giving, delivering the same hearty Thanksgiving meals to various fire stations and rescue departments across Pinellas County. The recipients will include all 14 St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue Stations, the Treasure Island Fire Department, both St. Pete Beach Fire Stations, all three Lealman Fire Stations, all four Pinellas Park Fire Stations, the South Pasadena Fire Department, the Gulfport Fire Department, all four Seminole Fire Rescue Stations, and the Madeira Beach Fire Department.
The Mike Alstott Family Foundation was established with a mission to uplift the minds, hearts, and spirits of families and children on their journey to realizing their full potential.
