The Mike Alstott Family Foundation, along with former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Mike Alstott and TV Host Misty Wells, teamed up for charity partner A Reel Future. Together, they hosted over 50 foster children from A Kids Place, Anchor House Ministries, Carlton Manor, Hope Children’s Home, and Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches for a holiday fishing party on December 2, 2023.
At the party, which took place aboard the F/V Hubbards II, participants enjoyed a day of fishing along with autographs and pictures with Alstott. Each participant also received a Holiday Card from the Mike Alstott Family Foundation, which included a retail store gift card so each child could select a holiday gift of their liking. Waiting on the boat for departure was lunch courtesy of DeLosa’s Pizza. A Reel Future was devoted to sharing knowledge and giving the passion of fishing and the great outdoors to our future generation and kids in need.
A Reel Future was founded in 2014 by Misty Wells, host of the "Let’s Take it Outside" Outdoor Adventure TV show airing on Discovery Channel & Discovery GO.
