This Thanksgiving season, Former Buccaneer Mike Alstott and the Mike Alstott Family Foundation, have teamed up with Foundation supporters, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Employees of the Tampa Werner Logistics Office, and Publix Supermarkets to help make this Thanksgiving a little more enjoyable for local heroes.
The giving begins on Friday, November 22 when Alstott will provide full Thanksgiving meals, complete with a cheesecake and ground coffee courtesy of Bassano Cheesecakes and Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co., to all 47 Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Stations and the 911 Dispatch Center as a way to thank the local heroes that will be on duty Thanksgiving Day.
The expression of gratitude will continue Saturday, November 23 when the team will deliver the same meals to all 14 St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue Stations, The Treasure Island Fire Department, both St. Pete Beach Fire Stations, all three Lealman Fire Stations, all four Pinellas Park Fire Stations, The South Pasadena Fire Department, The Gulfport Fire Department, all four Seminole Fire Rescue Stations and The Madeira Beach Fire Department. The Mike Alstott Family Foundation was formed to allow the Alstotts to assist others in uplifting the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children on their way to realizing their full potential through various events, assistance programs, and celebrations.
